Our Story

It all began in 2005 with my already established passion for British produced spirits , I had a thirst to find the purest products.

After much research, I discovered creating such a speciality spirit was only possible through quality built copper stills and this is what lead me to bring my greatest idea to fruition.

‘BritStill’ was born in 2022, Following extensive research into still design and years of using a wide range of commercial distilling equipment. I was able to use my extensive knowledge and experience to create copper pot stills built in Great Britain that will last a life time.

The BritStill team is growing rapidly, with our very own distillery The Old Army Camp Distillery, home to ‘Somerset Spirit Co’ established in 2019, located in the delightful Somerset countryside. We currently produce a Milk based Vodka, gins, rums and Whisky.

Our knowledgable and experienced team are trained to help advise you on choosing the right copper still, Creating a turn key solution for your Distillery or creating a new product, recipe design and all aspects of the distilling industry.
